ORGANIC LIVING SOIL

With the launch of our state-of-the-art facility in Metro-Vancouver, British Columbia, Emerald began a new chapter in its Cannabis cultivation, emphasizing sustainable and artisanal growing methods.

After many years of growing medical-grade cannabis for patients, we were excited to apply our years of experience towards producing first-rate cannabis for the adult-use market in Canada. At every step of the growing process, we take care to ensure our cannabis products are grown and processed at a pharmaceutical standard. One step inside our facility and you can see the difference; the compound is meticulously clean and the plants vibrant and healthy.

SUSTAINABLE OPERATION

Emerald’s wholly-owned Metro Vancouver operation consists of 156,000 square feet in two greenhouses as well as 12 acres outdoor cultivation area. The facility was built with technological advancements and operational efficiencies to reduce environmental impact and incorporate sustainable principals such as recycling of water and living soils.

Plastic consumption and carbon footprint from the transportation of materials is significantly reduced by recycling organic soils over many years. Organic cannabis production does not allow for the use of pesticides. Metro Vancouver has received organic certification for its in-house made soil from Pro-Cert, an accredited Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
